What is Reiki?

Reiki is one of the simplest and most intuitive forms of energy healing.

Reiki is proven to promote relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, and enhance a positive mental state through gentle touch.

The effects of stress can manifest as physical symptoms such as headache or stomach problems, restless sleep, muscle tension or excessive worry.

Reiki is an energy-based healing practice that can lessen the impact of stress by supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

During your Reiki session, you'll lie fully clothed on a comfortable bed. You'll feel my hands lay gently on your body and hear me move around the room.

During your Reiki session you can expect a variety of sensations such as warmth, a gentle pulse or vibration, sense of relaxation.

Reiki is included in my 1:1 coaching program. It is not currently offered outside of this container.

Why Reiki?

Your body is a unique and intricate machine with physical, mental, and emotional components.

When your physical body is out of energetic alignment, you feel disconnected and stuck. Stuck emotions can cause overwhelm and stress create imbalances in your body.

Many women come to Reiki feeling stressed, having low energy, or just generally feeling down. Reiki can help release energy no longer serving you while replacing it with positive energy. 

By aligning and clearing stuck energy centers you will allow your body's natural healing abilities and feel like yourself again.

I'm a nurse. Science is my thing and I love facts. 

According to The National Center for Biotechnology Information, there were 13 peer-reviewed studies published between 1998 and 2016 that indicated:

 "Reiki is more effective than placebo in reducing resting heart rate, increasing heart rate variability, and reducing blood pressure.  Physiological measurements were taken and proven."

"For patients with chronic health conditions, Reiki has been found to be more effective than placebo for reducing pain and anxiety, depression, and for improving self-esteem and quality of life."

Reiki is a safe and gentle complementary therapy and is widely accepted among hospitals around the world. Reiki is not a substitute for medical care.
